I wouldn’t recommend going to this doctor unless you want to pay a ridiculous amount. I have good insurance and one visit cost me over $600 for an ultrasound, urine test and the doctor visit. Dr. Zarlingo is affiliated with Mercy health hospital , so he charges his office amount and a hospital charge. Makes me furious that I had to pay a hospital charge when I didn’t even go to the hospital! Just because his office is in a building near by the hospital they can rip you off. I had to wait one hour in the exam room to talk to him.

Was referred to Dr Zarlingo to determine if my baby had a birth defect, he walked in and delivered the heart-breaking news as if he was talking about the weather. He recommended genetic testing, gave us some very vague info and left. I went back for a follow up after 5 weeks to get more info and after waiting in the exam room for an hour and a half, when he finally came in he ranted about his identity being stolen and the value of his vacation home- I kid you not, for 45 minutes and only mentioned my child (the reason we were there) when I finally interrupted him to ask about her. He really didn’t have much information for me and couldn’t answer my questions. His staff are super sweet and seem like they’re trying to make up for his inexcusable behavior all the time. Zarlingo is self-centered and uncaring. Would never recommend.

Dr. Zarlingo has absolutely no bedside manners. He was so rude to me after I decided to opt out of the 10 week genetic testing for my baby. He pretty much belittled me and called myself and my husband negligent parents. I would never, ever recommend.

I was high risk during my pregnancy and was having early labor, they told me since I was only 23 weeks they couldn't help me. Sent me home to wait it out and whatever happened happened. Went to Cleveland clinic and they saved my baby. Would not recommend!!

Dr. Zarlingo was a good doctor and explained everything to us. The only bad experience we had is that we sat in the waiting room for 3 hours then back in the exam room we sat there for another 2 hours. The Older lady at the desk was very ignorant when she was asked questions about appointments, times , etc. Also during the exam while explaining the Dr.s phone went off and he answered it. He then got off topic about Bombings, Killings and his Family which we were already upset over the wait.
