Couldn't schedule, no compassion
This place wouldn't schedule an appointment for me because I got pregnant through IVF. They said I had to wait until I graduated from the IVF place. I asked if I could just get an appointment on calendar for the week after I graduated, and they said no. I also asked if I could just MEET Dr. Rost for now to see if I like him, as I don't have an OB currently since my last OB stopped practicing. I explained that I've miscarried before, I'd rather not wait until the point when I miscarry again to have to meet the man for the first time who'd be doing a D&C. They didn't care. I then sent a message to Dr. Rost online, pleading for the office to pass my message along to Dr. Rost, explaining that I have a high-risk pregnancy and just want to MEET an OB and figure out who my doctor is going to be. That message was completely ignored. Once I graduated the IVF clinic, I called to make an appointment, but no one returned my call.

Excellent,caring dr.
Dr. Rost is an excellent OB/GYN. He is kind, caring and listens to his patients. He is a fantastic dr and cares deeply about his patients.

The Best Practice in North Texas
I've had Dr. Rost as my Ob/Gyn for over 27 years. He is a calm, patient and teaching doctor- he welcomes questions and addresses all concerns. I can not brag about his staff, which says alot about him also. His nursing and office staff are on top of things- phone calls answered promptly, cordial and professional. Really, one of the few doctors offices where the staff, nursing and doctor are working together with the best interest of the patient.

Dr. Rost is THE BEST Doctor. I made a mistake and had my second daughter at Baylor Frisco with another doctor. When I went into labor they wouldn’t give me my epidural because they couldn’t get a hold of my doctor to get the okay. They left me in pain and told me women do this every day...... after a laying me on my side because she still wouldn’t answer her phone my baby slid out after they rolled me over and she walked in with wet hair. I had so many tears down there and it was awful so for my third daughter I came back to the best doctor ever and again have the best delivery ever! Thank you Dr. Rost!!!!

Dr. Rost delivered my first baby. A couple months after delivery I started having really bad pelvic pain. Instead of bringing me in for an exam or trying to help me figure out what was wrong he referred me to a pain management dr. I continued to have really bad pain so I found a new OBGYN who immediately scheduled tests and an exploratory laporascopy and discovered that I had an abscess on the outside of my uterus that had caused a lot of necrotic tissue. I could have become very sick and septic

I've been a patient of doctor Rost for years. Last year I told him I would be on Medicare my next annual visit. He said no problem. His office left two voice messages reminding me to schedule my well woman visit. I called to do so. I was told they take Medicare but not Humana Medicare Advantage. I was told the higher priced advantage pays the doctor less. I called Medicare and this isn't true. When I called back thinking it was a misunderstanding and the office person yelled at me! I was stunned

Absolutely amazing doctor! He is very knowledgeable but he is just a really nice guy. He was my doctor for my 2nd child and that was the best decision I made. Highly recommend. A plus is that the office was always running on time :).

I have had Dr. Rost as my gynecologist for almost 20 years and do not think I would have gotten through some of the medical challenges I've had without his calm and patience. He is a great listener and very caring. All of that translates to his staff as well. Even though I've moved to far north Frisco, I have kept Dr. Rost as my doctor because I can't imagine anyone else would be able to match his dedication and experience.
