I've been seeing Toby Goldsmith for several years. Like many of the above reviewers, I have always found her to be an attentive and very perceptive listener. My appointments with her are relaxed conversations in which she explores not only purely psychiatric issues, but also general medical ones. I am always impressed by her broad medical knowledge; she has alerted me to some medical issues that other providers missed.

Dr. Goldsmith, I felt, was non-judge mental, extremely perceptive and I left hopeful that she would do her best to help me gain clarity, and get better. An amazing listener and Dr. Goldsmith engaged as well, it wasn’t just me talking.. I feel she really cares. I’m grateful I found her??

Toby is a kind doctor who is very practical and matter of fact. This is very helpful after decades of trying to get my medicine correct. She even diagnosed me with a condition that I had no idea I had and the new medication (and much fewer pills) are life-changing.

I've be been going to Toby for years. She is the kind of doctor who will be blunt but with loving intentions. This is something that I really appreciate and love about her. I look forward to our appointments every three months. She also really has a knack for providing the right medication. She literally help save me from dark times. I have never had a time where she wasn't all ears which is rare for psychiatrists; trust me I've had many.

I found the office and physician to be lacking an expected level of warmth and care. For the cost of a specialist, the care I received wasn't anything special. I would not recommend this physician.

Dr. Goldsmith is a poor listener who possesses neither compassion nor humility. She believed she held the secret to my mental health, and resultantly I suffered debilitating escalation of my illness. Terrible psychiatrist. terrible person.
