Dr. Abel has always been very professional and friendly with me, while I transit a difficult moment in my life with three simultaneous problems 'attacking' me together: 1. hip issues, hopefully mainly resolved after hip replacement surgery last September but still suffering from bursitis., 2. Sciatica that Dr. Abel is helping me with. We just finished the spinal cortisone procedure and hoping for the best, because the next step is surgery. Wish me luck, 3. Scoliosis of 20 degrees. Dr. Abel is involved with the Sciatica and always has been very friendly and clear in the path to follow to alleviate my issues. In a particular event, he opened time in his busy schedule when the results of my MRI arrived that were scary looking. He moved forward the spine cortisone shot by one month because the MRI imagines are pretty dramatic and events had to be accelerated. I am guessing eventually surgery will be needed and I have so much confidence with Dr. Abel that I will ask him to proceed.

Such a skilled suregeon. I feel like he gave me my life back! Everything is explained thoroughly. Every question answered in ways that made it easy to understand. Every member of the staff including the office staff is friendly and professional. The P.A. staff is amazing In my opinion Dr. Able is the best neurosurgeon in the state. Would recommend to anyone. What stands out about my visit was the effectiveness of Dr Abel’s staff.

Went in for my visit. They had reviewed my MRIs and had a plan sat down with the doctor and his PAs and told me what was needed to be done and I said let’s do it.!!

Dr. Abel truly took the time to listen to me as a WHOLE entity, not just the crisis my appointment was made to address. I have needed someone willing to address my underlying issues for years in order to stop the crises from happening. I finally feel hopeful that I am on the right path!

I was informed of everything happening and every single person I spoke with was kind and attentive.

I been having pain on my left side and my neck. And an MRI showed something I want Dr. Able to look at. I trust Dr. Able with my life and he will tell me how things are.

This office is careless. When making my 1st appointment, they did not even change my phone number and address to my correct one. They were using an address from 30 years ago. Then we called asking questions and told them that we had appointment with Dr. Abel and no one bother to tell us that the appointment was with his PA not him. I cancelled the appointment and asked to see Dr. Ragsland. I found out by my primary care that they are now refusing to see me when everything was their office' s fault for not pay close attention to details. Details are the most important thing at any position. You are dealing with someone's life. Don't use this office you will get the run around with no solutions.

Dr. Able went straight to the point, encouraged questions and took the time to look up medsto see if I could take them up to the surgery. His staff was efficient and had great information.

Cervical Anterior - Discectomy and fusion C5-T1 . One month after surgery, and can tell a huge difference. Feel great and very appreciative of his services and the staff.

Dr. Abel takes the time to explain your options as well as patiently answering all of your questions. He’s such an amazing surgeon.

Dr. Abel is an excellent surgeon. He did my neck surgery and also my carpal tunnel surgery. He's not very talkative, a bit shy it seems, but my aunt had the same neck surgery that I had, from a different doctor, and she had to wear a neck collar for 6 weeks. I walked out the same day able to turn my neck. Some people may go to a surgeon expecting miracles, and when that doesn't happen, they give a low reviews, but I highly recommend him!

5 stars, very helpful. The doctor and the staff were very kind. I understand things are slow because of Covid-19, and simply the nature of being a doctor in a busy hospital with several other patients. However, I also understand that the doctor and the hospital are doing their best to give everyone the attention and care they need. Would recommend to friends and family.
