I had a Total Knee Replacement with Dr. Scott 4 days ago. Coming from a family of physicians and being an academic-researcher myself, I search for the TOP physicians for all my medical needs. I am not concerned if they are nice or friendly, but I look for the best. I ask other doctors & nurses and carefully look at publications & training. So, it was easy to conclude that Dr. Scott was the right surgeon for Knee Replacement in WA and maybe in the West Coast.My surgery was 4 days ago and I am going up and down the stairs and amazed as to what I am able to do. No walker or cane. I am barely bruised, which is evidence of Dr. Scott's fine-skills (there was not too much manipulation during surgery). Of course, this is a BIG surgery, and there is pain and swelling, but I only need a small amount of narcotics at night, which is a huge deal. My PT is amazed.As a BONUS, Dr. Scott is super nice and answers all my MANY questions. His team is also excellent and responsive. Super happy.

Dr. Scott actually listened and heard me! I like that he has addressed my chronic pain with a plan to identify the issue. I am relieved to be in his care.

2019 had a total hip replacement. Very complicated. I felt he did an excellent job and he was very concerned about my care. Would definately give a very high rating.

Check in is always quick. This visit I had a long wait for my xray. Dr Scott examined my knee and reported that it is perfect. I was able to resume midway hiking at 5-months but did a 9-mile hike at 10-months post surgery. I have resumed all of my activities and could not be happier. Dr Scott and his team are very friendly, take time to answer questions and respond to MyChart questions.

The visit was for my one-year check-up for hip replacement surgery. Dr. Scott did an amazing job on that a year ago and was so kind that he stayed and did the surgery into the night. I revered quickly and there is no difference in my leg. Today's visit was a pleasure as he affirmed healing was complete, took the time to check range of motion and strength in the leg and checked with an x-ray to assure healing was. He was knowledgeable and told me what to expect or what might happen in the next few years. As always, he was both charming and unassuming.

Dr. Scott is a very great doctor. My knee replacement was far from normal, but he made my life so much better for walking. Would n have recommended him to my friends.....

He listened to my knee issues, explained the problems with my knee in understandable terms and answered all my questions where I never felt rushed to understand.
