I saw Dr. Morrison as his profile capabilities at the time included spinal tumors. I had all elements necessary for a biopsy of a vertebrae including severe pain, lesions documented on MRIs, and cancer. He chose not to do the biopsy, although also stating that metastases could not be ruled out. It then took me an additional several months to get in with another Dr. qualified to do a biopsy and it was metastatic. He stated he did not have some records; I brought all records with me, including discs of imaging, and had everything sent to him prior to the appt. Upon follow up, he stated he had advised me to follow up with Oncology with concerns; their report had stated my Tx would depend on my appt with him. Current research states that metastatic lesions seen on MRIs may not show activity on PET scans if under 1 cm.I have met in person 2 other families with similar experiences, one whose loved one had passed from cancer. Most other CMH Doctors and staff have been excellent.

Not a nice person
Troy may be knowledgeable about some parts of his practice. He is a very nasty person outside of work. Don't believe everything he says. He is very condescending.

Up to the follow up visits things went very well....was disappointed at follow up visits because we had to request to see an talk with Dr. He never showed me any x rays but I assume I have to request that also.... his attitude towards me while I asked questions give me mixed feeling that he was being bothered....he even put a statement in my medical report that was unnecessary and was based off a wrong interpretation. While I was blessed he prayed for me before surgery.... it's a impression that has to be uphold with every visit....as a surgeon I will recommend... but be prepared for a different impression with office visits.

Dr Morrison preformed a Kyphoplasty on my 87 year old dad today, and wow, was I impressrd! I am a Registered Nurse, and have seen many doctors in action over the years. Dr Morrison's bedside manner and skill were top notch, and in spite of my dad's age and recent poor health, I felt completely at ease letting him do my dad's surgery! Everything went perfectly, and I would recommend Dr Morrison to anybody!

Best Dr. I have ever met. Dr. Morrison did my cervical fusion surgery and today I am able to do CrossFit and have a very active life. I wish I would not have put off having the surgery as long as I did. My last deadlift day was 22 reps at 315. I don't think anyone would know I had cervical fusion surgery just a little over two years ago. Dr. Morrison's nurse Casey is flat out the best nurse one could hope for. What a great team! SW MO is blessed to have them!

Excellent results. He did not sugar coat potential outcome of surgery, listing all the down side results plus what would be a reasonable expectation. To date my condition is better than I expected. He is personable, thorough and competent. And, we prayed, at that time I had an unusual epiphany and this, along with my wife's prayers, were answered (I had complicating medical conditions). I've seen hundreds of doctors, and he's one of the best.

Dr Morrison was very thorough in his exam. Weighed all the options, very up front with the risk/complications and outcomes. He is very personable and cares about you as a person and not just another patient. His nurse and him work very well together which made me feel more at ease. He prayed with be before my surgery. Blessed to have him as a doctor.
