Dr. Tufik Assad, MD

I was very sick with severe pneumonia & RSV several years ago in the hospital when I met Dr. Assad. I have seen him since then and I really like him. He is obviously very competent, friendly and empathic. I think he is an A plus and I feel secure in his care.

He’s very nice and very professional. Dr. Assad truly helps this patient (me). He’s also a very good listener. He’ll do different test to find the problem.

I was recently struggling with my asthma and called the office. Dr Assad was on hospital service that week so the nurse called to triage me and passed along my symptoms. Dr Assad came across from his service to see me the next day in the office. I truly respect the professionalism shown by his entire staff from the front desk to the patient rooms.

Dr. Assad provided an appointment quickly due to my situation. It was obvious that he reviewed my file before walking in to discuss. He not only listened to me, but he also examined me, asked more questions about family history and my history. He ordered a couple tests which were run in his office during my visit. He also called my cardiologist to discuss a couple questions and had my cardiologist call me directly. (I have had trouble getting past the 'gatekeeper' at my cardiologists office to get proper care.) Dr Assad was the kind of doctor everyone hopes to find when you really need help. He restored my hope in some doctors!

I am not a huge review person. However, I felt the need to leave this review for Dr. Assad. He has been by far the best Dr. I have seen during this health scare I encountered. He took the time to listen to all my concerns and answer all the questions I had around PE's. I felt I finally had some answers leaving his office. I would say anyone looking for a competent, caring Doctor he is the real deal.
