Joint Pain Knees
Had my 1st consultation with Dr. Anyangwe today for persistent knee pain initiated decades ago in the military. Staff and Dr. Anyangwe could not have been anymore courteous, professional with patient care their primary concern. I would recommend the practice, staff and Dr. Anyangwe for concerns you have about joint problems.

Very friendly. Provides education about your concern and is conservative with treatment. He doesn't jump right into surgery.

I made a appoint with The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics for a second opinion after I was told I would have to endure the pain that there was nothing that could be done other then pain pills. That it was my hip. I had completed pt and shots in my hip the pain was worse radiating down my leg at times. I refused pain meds. My first appt Dr Dr. Anyangwe said what he thought was wrong a pinched nerve in my back but he wanted me to consult with Dr Souffrant. So I did. Appointments are scheduled quickly. On my first visit with Dr Souffrant he told me it was not my hip it was my back but no one had ever MRI my back. When the Mri came in Dr Souffrant sat and showed me on his computer the nerve and the bulging disk, He explained everything and told me my options. I opted for the shot. He then explained the shot and what to expect. He is a very kind and smart Dr who explains everything. He put the disk in his computer and showed me the nerve and the disk. Made me feel at ease. He told me if

Broke my hip and Dr. Anyangwe performed surgery. My hip has healed with no residual problems. Dr. Anyangwe was kind, informative and professional throughout my surgery and recovery. I would recommend him to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon.

I had fallen and broke my tib & fib. I was seen by Parkway Orthopedic's. I saw the same doctor for about a year (I DO NOT recommend him). 2 weeks after being released by Parkway - I fell and re-broke the same leg in the same spot. Parkway refused to see me (which was a good thing.) When I got to the hospital by ambulance Dr. Anyangwe was waiting. He took his own X rays and said that the leg did not heal right surgery was needed 2 pins and a plate. This doctor Aced the job he did(( A BIG THANK YOU Dr. A is necessary.)) I've told his office and my family members - if I ever need another Orthopedic Doctor - he is going to be called upon first..

I tore my right quadriceps muscle back on Jan 8th. I was referred to Dr. Anyangwe and I couldn't be more impressed. The doctor paid close attention to what I was saying after initial exam. Surgery was scheduled after seeing MRI. Within a month my leg was healing. The day of surgery the doctor decided no after a further exam before surgery. How many surgeons do that. Therapy has fixed the quadriceps. Thanks doc !!!!!!
