Dr. Vikram Jayanty, MD

Excellent! Dr Jayanty listened and validated my concerns. He explained to me what is causing my symptoms and outlined how he wanted to proceed. He is thorough and has a great bedside manner. His staff is also excellent and efficient. I could not ask for a better team to handle my GI concerns.

DR. JAYANTY CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. HE HAS AN EXCELLENT BED MANNERS. HE HAS A LOT OF EXPERIENCE AND THANKS TO GOD AND HIM MY HEALTH HAS IMPROVED NOTORIOUSLY.

If you can find a better gastro, then by all means, please do so. I am sorry to be harsh, but I do not recommend Jayanty unless you are faced with few options. From the moment I received my consultation, to the moment I was quickly shuttled out by wheelchair following an endoscopy, I felt I was just not worth Jayanty's or his staff's time. Everything felt rushed when all was said and done. I went in for an endoscopy following black stools. Before I could ask questions in the initial consultation, Jayanty was off to his next patient. When I finally came to, today, following my endoscopy, I did not even get a chance to speak to the doctor; neither did he check in with me. I fear Jayanty is more interested in maintaining his income. Why? Every step of the way it seemed like his staff emphasized the cost of procedures and how I would pay. Also, the endoscopy revealed I had healthy tissue, however Jayanty went out of his way to take a biopsy, an additional and extraneous cost.

I was treated very well by staff and Dr. Jayanty. This was my 3rd procedure in the 10 plus years since I have been his patient.

I have been seeing Dr. Jayanty for three years. I have had severe GI issues for over 25 years. I had been going to Dr. Dorsch until he retired many years ago. Dr. Dorsch was outstanding. But, between Dr. Dorsch's retirement and finding Dr. Jayanty, no GI doctors had taken time to try to find some reason for my issues. Dr. Jayanty, while not able to fully resolve my GI issues, at least took time to work with me find both OTC products along with an Rx that have somewhat alleviated my issues. Additionally, I like that he does all his procedures in his office. You don't have go off site to have basic GI procedures performed. The only reason I give him 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that I I do not particularly care having to see a Nurse Practitioner in place of Dr. J. However, given that Dr. J is very busy doing numerous procedures many days of the week, it is understandable. Overall, though, Dr. J. and his staff have been nothing short of top notch.

My visit was ok aside from the terribly rude staff. The dr appeared nice when I saw him but he is very dismissive. I told him my symptoms and went for test. This would be a good thing if I received my results. I had to call this office for 3 months to get my results only to be told I need a mother test snd they would get it scheduled. Sadly, it has been another 2 weeks snd no word.

Was there for intestinal problems due to auto accident and i believe there is severe damage to my small intestine. I have a elevated diaphgram on rt side and recently had surgery for rare condition of hernia of colon by blunt forced trama. Surgery was sucess ( another doctor not associated with this one) i believe that my small intestinal sack is grown into scar tissue in this area and causing extreme constipation and is making me sick daily. ALL I COULD GET WAS STANDERD TREATMENT COLONOSCOPY/ENDOSCOPY AND SORRY CANT DO ANYTHING FOR YOU. MY ADVICE IF YOU CAN GOOGLE YOU CONDITION AND ITS ALONG MAIN LINE DIAGNOSE THEN HE CAN HELP.IF NOT DO NOT GO HERE DO NOT GO HERE BECAUSE YOU WILL ONLY GET TREATMENT FOR MAIN LINE PROBLEMS. THERE GONNA DO COLONSCOPY OR ENDOSCOPY AND BLOOD TEST. IF NOT THERE GO HOME AND SUFFER.

Dr. Jayanty was My doctor for 10+ years, but my last visit there was a disaster. he did a procedure on me where he put a tube with a camera on it to check my stomach. When I woke up out of sedation, I discovered that in the process of completing the procedure he broke a front tooth. When I confronted him about it he denied it was his fault and walked away. After visiting my dentist and finding out that it was going to cost me $1500.00 to repair the tooth, I called him and asked him yo cover the charge. Again, he refused to pay for the dental procedure. I have since changed doctors and cannot, and will not recommend him for any procedure.

Nothing but praises for dr Jayanty and his staff. I would highly recommend him to all of my friends. I was treated well, treatment was very well explained. I was completely satisfied with my experience.

Dr. Jayanty was very knowledgeable, with a kind approach to diagnosing my health situation. I felt like he really cared about helping me. Although this was my 1st time to his office, the staff was most accommodating in scheduling my visit, and the wait time to see Dr. Jayanty was minimal. I was also impressed with the friendly and helpful office staff, particularly Mary and Teresa. I feel very comfortable having Dr. Jayanty as my GI doctor and definitely recommend him.

dr jay is a very sweet doctor. i have visited several gi doctor for my issues i had all type of test done with other doctor no one could tell me what was wrong. when i would try to see other gi doctor they will tell me they dont give second opinions. This doctor here will give you2nd.3rd,5th opinion his ready to help he did a colona he found out what i had and now im doing so much better. go to him you wont be dissapointed at all

The worst doctors office ive ever been to. They do not do what they say they will. They do not return calls. I was supposed to hear back about referalls and never did. I was supposed to hear back about potential procedures and never did. When i asked about prescription refills it never happens. This place has a management crisis going on. Im done.

I recommend Dr. Vikram Jayanty without hesitation! He is an excellent physician and clinician, very thorough and very knowledgable. It's rare to find physicians that are as busy as him that still find the time to sit down and connect with patients and be just as efficient. His office staff are always accommodating and very respectful of our time. Thank you for looking after us!

My family and I have been going to Dr Jayanty for many years. He is very intelligent and stays current on treatments and medications. He does not rush through procedures and is very thorough. He has always been very kind, friendly, and willing to answer questions. Love the staff too! Always smiling and friendly. I highly recommend Dr Jayanty!

He is competent but not communicative. He does not spend enough time explaining issues and procedures.very short with time

I did not like my experience with him. He saw my daughter and prescribed her Metamucil and he do not even asked her about what she uses to eat. My daughter eats a lot of fiber and he did not even ask to her what she eats.
