Life Saving Heart surgery
I was having severe chect pains of a heart attack.that started on a Friday. I thought I was OK as the Nitro med. I took made the chest pains subside. Boy was that a mistake that almost cost me my life. They took me up to the operating room as soon as I got to the emergency room. Dr. McCormack already gave orders to the emergency room as to what to do with me as soon as I got there. They then took me up to the operating room where my heart stopped. Thanks to Dr. McCormack and her team I am alive today because of her Knowledge, concerns, and caring for me and my family. If I have any more heart attackes I will listen to Dr. McCormack and do what she says..When Dr.McCormack finished with me she went to my family and not only answered any questions my family asked but she also drew pictures so they could understand what she did. God bless Dr. Mccormack and her team I gladly would rate her a 6 on a scale of 1 to 5.

Simply the best TAVR procedure, patient accessible
Wonderful knowledge. Great bedside manner. Terrific communication skills including the rare ability to calm patients fears. Had no post-procedure problems and great care in ICU.

In a word: Outstanding!
A year ago, I had the good fortune of my extraordinary Primary Dr., (Internal Medicine) Robert Barbarite, M.D., to recommend Dr. McCormack. After calming my panic (!) she skillfully and with care did the procedure (3 stents) and along with her amazing staff gave me the gift of health again. I am grateful to her and her excellent staff and was extremely impressed with Broward Health Fort Lauderdale.

I have been a patient since 2007 when 4 other cardiologists said they can not help me . But Dr. McCormack placed a stent in 2007 and has done 7 times since then with her capable hands. I would not have been alive up to the age of 94 without her expertise .She has excellent bedside manners , answers all questions and give explanations I am eternally grateful

She was called in early morning to save my life with a heart attack... she was prompt.. talk to me while i was going under.. as i came somewhat awake ..while still with catheter still in my heart, asked how did it feel... i said one little pain still in my arm.. she moved catheter around ..did something and wow.. pain completely gone... stent was placed .. SAVED MY LIFE...:)
