ER Visit
Dr. Warren A Oliver, Can't say enough good about him. I came in as an obnoxious patient that self diagnosed himself. Well low and behold I was wrong. After several tests proved my problem was not as severe as indicated. We had a great discussion about my medical history. We finally came to the conclusion that stress was my major problem making my medical problems worse, and we came up with a solution. Currently doing much better. By the way I have rare cancers WM (incurable) and PDS (difficult to cure) my bone marrow no longer produces red and white blood cells or platelets. Need transfusions almost once a week to stay alive.

I wish I could give 100 stars! This man saved my daughter's life. She was admitted to the ER in Palatka in November a year ago. She had an ectopic pregnancy, her fallopian tube burst and she was in extreme pain. She went to the ER and Dr. Oliver was her physician. He checked her out, consulted with her doctor over the phone, and was told to just send her home and she could be seen by her own doctor the next morning. Dr. Oliver "went with his gut" and made the decision to call in an OB. He felt my daughter was in too much pain to just send her home. This one decision to call in the OB saved my daughter's life. The OB walked in the door and knew immediately that she was bleeding internally. She had already bled out a liter and a half by the time he got her into surgery. Dr. Oliver could have just went with the other doctor's advice and sent my daughter home. But he didn't. His willingness let another doctor have a look SAVED A LIFE. He made a difference!

Coded our emergency transport to another hospital as Non-emergency, causing us to receive a bill from the Ambulance service for over 600.00. It should have been coded as an emergency transport which would allow our Medicare and AARP secondary to pay for this!!
