Dr. Whitney Baker, MD

Dr Baker was our ER Dr 3 AM 2-22-2022. My wife had tachycardia, hypertension and a kidney stone. Really outstanding service at DeTar ER and Dr Baker was very thorough and thoughtful in his diagnosis and treatment. Five plus stars for Dr Baker.

Was misdiagnosed as a stable tibial plateau fracture by Dr. Baker Was sent with x- rays and ct scan of the obviously unstable fracture from an outlying er. Was sent to Victoria for emergency repair, was seen by Dr. Baker and was sent home with a splint and was told that the fracture was stable. Was seen a week later by orthopedic surgeon and underwent orif surgery for an unstable tibial plateau fracture a week later ( misdiagnosis in Victoria er put surgery off by 2 weeks, thus increasing my complication risks).
