Lacks Empathy
My elderly father was diagnosed with aggressive Stage 3 prostate cancer by Dr. Bingham. This doctor asked my dad’s age (79 at the time). He told my dad that he would not recommend that he treat his cancer but to go home and enjoy the days he had left with his family (exact words stated in front of myself and 4 other family members in the room at the time). After we left, my dad expressed that he wanted a 2nd opinion. We sought the care of a local minority urologist who was happy to help my dad. He devised a treatment plan (Lupron injections) & referred him to a minority oncologist. My dad underwent the CyberKnife (robotic radiotherapy) procedure. I'm happy to say that the combination of treatment options worked. My father is 80, doing extremely well healthwise & enjoying life. A 2nd opinion may save your life. Don’t be afraid to seek one. I’m glad that my dad did.

We visited Dr. Bingham and had a terrible experience. We waited for an hour before seeing the doctor, with no apology for our wait when he finally arrived. He was unfriendly and curt with his diagnosis, and offered no options for treatment without seeing another doctor first and waiting a month to return. Will not be seeing him again.

My father is currently in the hospital and had a radical cystectomy performed by Dr. Bingham. Everything seemed to be working correctly after surgery, until he got very constipated and bloated after surgery and started leaking from tubes etc Instead of checking in with his patient and/or trying to determine what was causing the leaking, he directed the nurse to go back to a pre-surgery workaround. He phoned that in and has not been by since. He also refuses to talk to us, treating us like idiots

By far, Dr. Bingham is the best urologist I've ever been to. Prior to seeing Dr. Bingham, I've had 5 bladder surgeries with otherurologist. I regret not coming to him first. Top notch doc??
