Terrible. Does’t take phone calls from patients in distress. Would not recommend.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a medical practice. I was referred by my health care provider to Dr. B. After two months of suffering while trying to get his office manager to schedule an appointment, the doctor flat out refused to see me. No reason given

Thankful for someone that not only cares about treating the symptoms but getting to the root of the problem. I have made a number of life style changes after meeting Dr. B and I am certain that these changes are what has kept me healthy and symptom free for over a year. Definitely a game changer encounter for me!

Dissappointing. My husband has colitis and we were encouraged to find a physician that advocated for a plant based diet and how it could improve the gut microbiome. The initial appointment seemed promising, although he did make sure to mention he was writing a book regarding this. Subsequently, my husband had a colonoscopy, was put on medication, told to get labwork, get a CT (which Dr B was told he already had) and then follow up in one month. At that appointment, the PA was the one to follow up and there was no preparation on their part. They had no labwork results and did not even seem to be aware of prior plan of care. Never met with Dr B for plan of action with diet as well. Office staff, although very nice, never returned numerous phone calls by myself. I had to hand deliver a disc from prior CT that Dr B requested but never was reviewed by him. Weeks later, he calls my husband to leave voicemail to refer him to MUSC. Waste of our time and money.

I have to say this is one of the best doctors experiences I have had. This is a touchy subject, and well I have been experiencing a pain for over a year now. Dr. Bulsiewicz listened to everything I was saying, and came up with a plan to get to the bottom of it. I was really impressed, and will definitely recommend and return with any future issues. For the first time in over a year I have not had this pain, and I did not have to go through surgery to get it fixed.

As an individual with long standing digestive issues, I expected Dr Bulsiewicz to attend to my issues with interest and a ‘let’s fix this’ mentality. Instead, he sent his PA in for the initial consult and then came in with a ‘I can’t really help you, try a nutritionist (no I don’t have a recommendation) and come back in several months for a drug.’ He clearly has only a couple diagnosed conditions he understands, and treats with a drug-forward approach.

Dr. Bulsiewicz performed my colonoscopy. The pre-colonoscopy prep at the facility was excellent. After the procedure Dr. Bulsiewicz explained the results in a very clear and understandable manner. He determined my hemorrhoids were inflamed and suggested a banding procedure. This was done on 3 separate office visits and the results are excellent. Throughout the banding procedures Dr. Bulsiewicz answered all my questions and concerns in a very clear and concise manner. Outstanding doctor!!

I've never had a doctor so genuinely interested in taking the time to talk with me - not at me. And one that is obviously passionate about his profession.

Dr. Bulsiewicz, or "Dr. B", as most call him, is a wonderful doctor. I will never forget one day he was running late and came out to the waiting room and apologized to everyone. He said one of his patients really needed him and it was going to take some extra time. I thought that was one of the nicest things I had ever seen a doctor do. Not only does that say alot about him as a doctor, but a compassionate man. I almost cried! He is so friendly, knowledgeable, and just an all around a nice guy.
