Dr. William Rizzuto, MD

Dr Rizzuto showed dangerous incompetence and alarming lack of bedside manner. His actions during my visit warrant medical negligence investigations. He was dismissive of important health concerns and verbalized incompetence in non factual information. He presumptively made comments without any meaningful evaluation of my symptoms. I am a registered nurse and have never in my life experienced someone as cold and diminutive as Dr. Rizzuto. I don’t believe he has a care or heart to help anyone.

After being in the ER for 6 hours post motor vehicle accident, Dr. Rizzuto came in to discharge me. When he asked how I was, I told him terrible and in pain, he quickly belittled me and my concerns by telling me my pain was something I’d just have to deal with for a few days. I told him I did understand that, but it didn’t mean my pain was any less legitimate. He turned his back to ms, told me to stop yelling at him, yelled “good luck”’over his shoulder as he left the room, and sent someone in with discharge paperwork. When I askes why I wasn’t given any RX for pain, after telling him that was the whole reason I presented to the ED, he told me hadn’t specifically asked for discharge meds, so how was he supposed to know I was hurting. Perhaps, the whole reason I presented to his ED - pain. Was not considerate, kind, or patient. Was incredibly confrontational, rude, and truly didn’t let me even finish one sentence. Would not recommend coming to this hospital, nor being treated by this MD
