Dr Vranos is a great doctor and has great bed side manner. He did my dad’s hip surgery and was positive and encouraging when he called me at 9:00pm. I went to him for a bakers cyst and he was gentle and drained it but encouraged me to take care of the issue. I put it off and then he retired. I was so disappointed until I found out he came back.

Repair to broken hip
Dr Vranos performed emergency surgery for a broken femoral neck on October 26, 2024. I was weight bearing on that leg in under 24 hours. This is an outcome any one would be appreciative of. He explained both before and after the surgery expectations. I was lucky he was on call.

I just had my left knee replaced on 3/27 by Dr. Vranos. He is a very confident surgeon who from the get go, answered questions, assured me I would do well, and continues to be available if I have more questions. I am on my way to full recovery and and so thankful for his skill and step by step goals and grounding (reminds me not to over do) at times for this active patient.

I have had 3 surgeries (both shoulders and one knee) with Dr. Vranos. The right shoulder was a 2-hour plus surgery, reconstructing tendon and reattaching to the rotator cuff. He told me before the surgery that there was no guarantee, explaining the surgical considerations. I appreciated his honesty. At 67, I am still playing ball.
