Dr. Yale Cohen, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Yale Cohen for the past 15 years. He is a very thorough doctor he does not rush his patients to move on to the next one. He sits and talk to you he listen and after he checks you he asked if you have any questions his usual statement 'I have all the time in the world for you'. If you are hospitalized he makes sure he comes to visit you to make sure you are ok. Being a former dialysis patient and a post kidney transplant, had heart attack and multiple TIA's he ensures that I stay on top of my health and takes the medication prescribed to keep me healthy. Both me and my wife uses him (she selected him due to the care and attention that he gives me). His bedside manners is impecable. His office staff is very respectful to his patients. I will always recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good cardiologist. He is not just a great doctor but he is a great listener. We were blessed to have been recommended to him and we have no regrets. We love Dr. C

Harsh manner, impolite and down right mean. Not what ty a sick person patient wants to experience.

I’ve had a great experience with Dr. Cohen, but I’m seriously considering changing doctors because the staff is very rude and disrespectful. If theres one thing that needs to change is their front staff.

As a 23 year cardiac patient, I was very lucky to be recommended to Dr. Cohen. He is an outstanding physician that is very knowledeable and attentive. He answers your questions and leaves no stones unturned. He has a friendly disposition and his office staff is super-friendly. Although his office is busy, he is very prompt. I will certainly recommend friends and family to Dr. Cohen.

The poorest level of customer service I have ever experienced. The office staff mixed my first name, and from arrival for this 1st visit the receptionist was incredibly rude. There's only 1 chair in the lobby, all the other chairs face the wall. A man waiting in the lobby helped me turn on chair so I could sit, and the receptionist comes out yelling. I had to fill all papers outside in my car. When I returned I gave the papers to now another receptionist. She wanted me to prepay $199 just to see the doctor. When I told her I knew what my copay is she yelled for everyone to hear, and disclosed private insurance information. I cancelled my appointment right away and left. Hopefully Dr. Cohen reads this review and has a coaching session with his staff, to teach them the meaning of good customer service.

The staff were great and friendly. They got me in really fast. Great experience.

Dr. Cohen and his team are always punctual and professional. I am willing to drive 30 minutes from my house and pass many local Cardiologist just to see Dr Cohen.

Very good ....I give him 5 stars. Upon entering the exam room ... Dr. Cohen would ask pertinent questions relating to your medical condition. I like that he just does not want a simple yes or no to questions he poses ... but really wants to hear how the patient is feeling, his/her medication. Dr. Cohen definitely takes the time to evaluate medically each and every patient he sees.

Upon meeting with Dr. Cohen we were immediate happy with his professionalism, his “Kool 60 and 70” mannerism and style clothes. We were joyfully convinced that he was doctor for me. I am glad I choice Dr. Cohen. He has guided my health with the upmost care resulting in a better stage of health and well-being and has been healthier ever since. His section of staff has been impeccable with their knowledge of care, scheduling, responses to questions and answers and most importantly the smiles that greed’s you at the front desk and the joyful conversations while waiting for the doctor. Great doctor! Great staff! Five star all around!

My husband and I both go to Dr.Cohen for our cardio care. My husband had to have an emergency procedure. The doctor was right on the button. He dashed to and fro checking to make sure that everything was up to standard. I mean, he was so concerned about my husband. We thank God for him. Do you need excellent doctor? Give Yale Cohen's office a call!

Dr. Cohen was professional, thorough and kind; from the first appointment through 3 procedures to the last follow up appointment. There were no surprises. The staff was excellent as well.

I was very impressed with Dr. Cohen and his staff. Everyone is very professional. The office is clean and the staff is very pleasant. The wait times are not excessive, I think the most I had to wait was 25 minutes, very reasonable by most doctors office visits. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Dr. Cohen and his staff.

Dr Cohen is above awesome and I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a well knowledgeable cardiologist.... I can not put works to his expertise just give him a call and you will see for yourself........He saved me from unnecessary surgeries others doctors wanted me to have meaning (time, money and recovery)....You rock Dr Cohen

The wait thime for this last visit was probably an abberation (sign in to exit 2 1/2 hours) as previous visits were much more patient friendly. Dr Cohen is very knowledgable and explained any symptons or concerns I may have regarding my proceedure very thoroughly. Very happy to hav e him as on e of medical doctors.

Dr. Yale Cohen was wonderful, super nice bedside manner. His staff is very friendly face to face, on the phone is another story... if they ever answer the phone... it just rings and rings and rings. Then when someone does answer (after my 3rd call to get threw), I explain my new medicine is effecting me very strangely (I called at 11:00 9/9/16) I was told she would speak to Dr. Cohen and get back to me, I left 2 numbers... no return call. Patient Portal, can't get in.
