Simply The Best, Period.
I have been a patient of Dr. Patel's since 2015, just before Multi Care did the dumbest thing ever by letting her walk. It was the BEST outcome for her (IMO) and was certainly the best for me as a patient. Now, instead of the usual 20 min. chat then, "time to keep the conveyeor belt of patients moving,"Dr. Patel takes her time. Sometimes, I feel as if I'm her only patient. Just last week, we had an hour and 20 min. appointment! Swear to God! We went through every single issue or concern. We planned for follow-up appointments. We told jokes and funny stories! She's an AMAZING Neurologist and person. Now, for the 1 star haters... I don't know what sort of axe you have to gring, but I believe the 1 star posts are NOT legit! Just someone who won't allow you to steamroll her. Check this out... When she went private I was on Medicaid. Still am. She's seeing me as a patient FOR NOTHING! Simply because she said she would! That should tell anyone on here everything they need to know. Peace

Dr. Patel is absolutely awful. My previous experience with her is that she does not listen to or care about what her long-term patients have to say. She ignored every issue I have because of my neurological disorder and refused to document them in my chart. She also rolled her eyes at me when I described my issues and told me to look up my condition myself for an explanation and to find my own treatments through my primary care provider. She preferred to talk about herself during our sessions. She has cost me quite a lot in terms of my disability. I do not recommend that anyone seek treatment from this doctor. I will not give my name because I fear retribution from her.

Dr. Patel was rude and listened to nothing I said. She consistently rolled her eyes at me when I talked about my pain, offered no solutions, and basically told me I was hysterical.. essentially tried to deliberately sabotaged my disability. Worst neurologist ever. So glad multicare cancelled her and so happy I have a new neurologist who actually understands and supports my disability. 0/10 would never recommend Dr. Patel.

Dr. Patel is by far the best neurologist I’ve ever had. She listens, she thoroughly addressed patient questions and concerns and she ensures all testing and exams are completed, with follow up as needed. Plus, she show empathy, she’s kind and she’s thoughtful. I highly recommend her to all MS patients.

Dr. Patel is a 5-star physician and I will follow her wherever she goes. I am so incredibly disappointed that Multicare doesn’t feel that patients need a specialist to follow their Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis!!! I’ll be talking with friends and coworkers about your lack of caring about your patients. So very disappointed.

Dr. Patel is the most informed, caring physician I have ever met. She completely explained my symptoms and gave me advice as to how we could treat them. She genuinely cares about my well being and encourages me to try new ideas and take charge of my health. Wonderful doctor.

I Have been seeing Dr Patel for several years. She is kind, patient, and highly professional. She listens to what I have to say and is sure to include me in any plans to treat my MS. It is a terrible shame that Multicare has chosen to discontinue MS specialist treatments and opt for the "one size doesn't fit all" use of generalist neurologists. I am not comfortable with this choice, and will be seeking Specialist care elsewhere. Hopefully, this will include Dr Patel.

Dr Patel is outstanding. So thankful to be her patient. Disappointed with MultiCare’s decision to not renew her contract. Dr. Patel’s dedication to her patients must not have been a good fit for multi crapcare.

I have been treated for MS for five years. My provider moved so I landed in Dr Patels office. On the first visit she walked in and announced “You don’t have MS. why are you here” yet she suggested I come back in six months. At my second visit my body was jerking uncontrollable. Once again “Why are you here YOU DO NOT have MS” At my second visit my body was jerking uncontrollable and SHE refused to help.

Dr. Patel is one of the very few physicians that I've seen that has provided me with meaningful treatment and understanding of my condition. Struggling with a chronic condition is challenging, but even more so when the general medical community is unequipped to provide any direction. I recommend Dr. Patel wholeheartedly.

There was no waiting time. Nurse Jessica was very helpful, and friendly. Dr Patel was also very freindly, and helpful with my concerns. She listened to what I had to say, and then offered excellent advice. She was very thorough with her examination. She doesn't make you feel anxious or rushed.

Great Doctor! She's very concerned about patient health, and takes every step possible to provide excellent care. I enjoy my visits with Dr. Patel. She's a great listener as well, which sometimes is hard to find. The best part is she has no problem taking time to have small talk with me, and that matters! I never have felt as though my visit was on a time limit.

At first, like many doctors, she assumed I was exaggerating my condition or was simply "too young" to have such a disorder. Since MRI and spinal tap results came back, however, she's been exceptional! She's thorough, attentive, and genuinely concerned for the well-being of her patients. She made sure I was making a fully-informed decision about the treatment she suggested for me. I've been jaded by a few completely incompetent medical professionals in my time, which makes it that much more of a privilege to say that I strongly respect Dr. Patel and her work. On another note, the folks that handle phone calls and scheduling really need to get their act together. There is no reason that phones should go straight to voicemail during normal business hours, and the doctor has had to ask them to change appointment dates that were scheduled too far out.
