Dr Elshatory has been my eye doctor since 2016. Excellent patient care and explains eye progress and care so you understand. Very genuine and kind. Will miss Dr Elshatory when he moves to his new Elshatory Retina Associates (ERA) in Plano, TX.

Dr. Elshatory always enters the room with a greeting and smile. He listens to my question and answers them so I can understand the explanations. He made my transition from a Dubuque provider less stressful. He explained that he’ll be moving out of state so, I will not see him at my next appointment, that saddens me, I will miss him. I know I’m in good hands with Eye Surgeons and Associates.

I go for shots in my eye, Dr. Elshartory is very smooth when he does it and very quick. The first time I almost freaked but the way he does it, it never hurts and it's over before you have a second thought.

He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He is quick in and out, but if you have a question he will always take the time to answer it. He really knows what he is doing with the eye injections, and amazingly there is no pain. I did not ask any questions this trip.

Dr. Elshatory administered my 27th eye injection yesterday. Everything went fine as usual. He informed me that he was relocating to Texas in a few months. I wished him well. I have been impressed with his service and that of Eye Surgeons Associates as well.

Dr. E. evaluated me multiple times for potential detached retina and repaired my husband’s detached retina. We were so impressed by how thorough, kind, patient and selfless he was while helping us. He performed the surgery just before the holidays. Doctor alone met us at his office on a Saturday to ensure my husband was healing. It was a few hours before he was to board a plane for Christmas. He even called us from his destination. All eyesight was restored! Pure dedication. Thank you so much!
