Dr. Yousef Odeh, MD

Dr Odeh is very clear about what he sees in your health. He is down to earth as he talks to you. No big ego. Had a CABG, the work was outstanding. He has an outstanding team for the surgery and intensive care. They mirror his bedside manner and outstanding ability to care for the patient. They know and understand why specific care is given. 5 stars is not sufficient to rate the level of care and knowledge demonstrated by Dr. Odeh and his team. Unqualified recommendation - at least 10 stars!!!

I thought I could continue without the BY-PASS surgery, but after he explained why I needed it now vs. later etc. carefully discussing pros and cons... I felt confident in his careful evaluation of my options that his multi cabbage recommendations were my best options. He and his team at St. Mary's are great in all areas.

Dr. Odeh takes the time to explain what he plans to do in surgery. He performed the surgery and saved my life. I feel better and my energy back to 90%.

My husband was to have back surgery in April, but in the pre op stage two blockages in his heart were found. Hence a double by pass. Back surgery canceled. Heart surgery took president. We met with Dr Odeh for a pre op appointment and what a wonderful man. Very personable, very explanatory, very confident and listened well. a few weeks later surgery was scheduled. The surgery went very well. Dr Odeh kept us totally informed during the surgery as to what was happening via his nurses. What an amazing surgeon. What an amazing human being. If ten stars were possible he’d have all ten. I

A surgeon of the highest caliber. Dr. Odeh is compassionate, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. I find it difficult to find all of the positive words that he deserves. He explained everything in detail that I and my wife could understand. Throughout the entire Bypass surgery process I felt as if his only concern was totally for me and my wife. The best way I can put it is that although I hope I never need this surgery again, if I do Dr. Odeh is the only one I would possibly consider.

Where do I begin? This man is a phenomenal surgeon! He operated on my mother, who was incredibly terrified about the whole process, and he completely explained the entire process, before, during, after, he reassured her and most importantly, kept her calm. Now, post-op, she's back to her old self! Were 100% glad she was referred to Dr. Odeh at St. Mary's!!! Amazing doctor at an amazing hospital!!!

Dr. Odeh helped my father from start to finish through his open heart surgery. He is a truly compassionate and caring surgeon and will drop everything to make sure his patients are doing well. I could not recommend a surgeon with better skills, but he is also a good PERSON.

Worst experience of my life! He said he could extend my husband's life for seventeen more years doing open heart surgery but instead he ended his life. I have not been the same person since the loss of my spouse of over 35 years. My family and friends warned me about St. John's Hospital surgeons and staff but we had high hopes that nothing bad would happen and it did.

Couldn't respect or admire a doctor more. Dr.Odeh is brilliant, kind, patient and our trust in him is beyond measure. I didn't know people like Dr. Odeh existed on this Earth. He is truly passionate about his heart patients. We were blessed to have crossed paths with him. He is the miracle doctor that literally saved my father’s life! Dr. Odeh took his time (daily) to discuss my fathers condition, his plans for treatment/recovery and answered all of our questions no matter how silly they were.
