Prescribed an antidepressant, never checked back about this patient's tolerance and experience with the drug, and the result was suicidal ideation and hospitalization for the patient. A qualified psychiatrist was able to adjust the patient to a new medication.

I highly recommended Dr Stephenson to anyone I meet. She has cared for my family and myself, and many friends in excess of 20 years.

Dr. Stephenson was unneccesarily defensive and deliberately unhelpful when she was questioned with a concern about a family members' needs. She seemed unable to listen to or try to understand what we we asking for. Her inability to be open to a family's concern was very disconcerting.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stephenson for several years. I am always able to be seen on short notice, sometimes as soon as 15 minutes, as I live close. My previous PCP is out of state and I was looking for a female physician who took the time to understand my issue and was able to have a conversation about my conditions, not just diagnose from the notes taken by the nurse. From Emily, who sets appointments to Mitzi, the nurse, to Dr. Stephenson I am always happy with the care I receive.
