Pain Management is a scam.
Only the physicians benefit from this because they are in control of what the patient will receive. The staff is inefficient & discourteous. After using this group, & hearing the stories of patients in the waiting room, I realize pain management is a racket. The office collects much money & the patient remains in pain. What a waste of my time & fuel!

Lacked concern for patient.
The staff was cut and dry. I asked if he would return my call, she said he won’t fill your prescription so he has nothing to say to you. I suffer from arthritis, degenerative disc disease, with 2 herniated discs. I’m 71 years old and would never take anything that wasn’t prescribed to me. Totally inhumane treatment.

My shoulder pain was holding back my life. Dr lipman and his team gave it back to me. I can hunt and fish and do all the things I love to do. All of the doctors on his team are fantastic. My only downside as with another review I read is the brown hair girl in the waiting room that works. She treats people already suffering horribly, I honestly believe Dr. Lipman doesn't know how bad she is because he wouldn't tolerate that. The other girl with the blonde hair is simply amazing and we need more of her in the world and the pain management industry. I would recommend this place to anyone, but if Dr. Lipman is reading this you need to fire that brown hair girl in the waiting room.

Dr. Lipman and the other doctors have changed my life. My neck pain was killing me and now I have my life back. His staff is mostly wonderful. My only caution to patients is to come on Monday Wednesday or Friday that is when you will see Kelsey, the young lady in the waiting room. She is a gift to all pain patients with her kindness and empathy. If you not come on this day you will get glared and snipped at by the other girl that stands out in the waiting room. That's the only reason I did not give 5 stars. The young lady that takes my blood pressure always puts a smile on my face. I always recommend this office to my friends that are also have chronic pain.

No problem with Dr. Lipman. There seems to be chaos in the office, always seem to be new employees. I can't get an appointment now. Ive been receiving shots there for three years. I would appreciate speaking to a person instead of the answering machine. Is there a person who could answer my questions? Mary Shelton

Couldn't get an appointment because their referral service coordinator, basic person to answer phones, kept just backtalking me and answering as if she didn't understand that I knew she was telling me that I was not welcomed to their facility. She over talked my every question acting as if She knew what I was going to ask.She did not ask about my reason to call there. All I ended up doing was Her talking to me about herself and how long she had worked there and also worked at Feather River Hosp.

Never recieved an appointment in Paradise, CA – Feb 15, 2019
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Lipman?
Dr Lipman is a good man doing great work. I received injections and abrasions in my neck and lower back and had my medications filled for more than 3 years at his office. The Doctor was busy during one of my visits so I saw the PA instead. Although I resisted he wanted to try a new medicine, replacing a medicine I'd taken for more than 20 years. I filled the scrip and started the new medication. Three days later I was sick and in the hospital. I don't think I need to say more.

Unlike some other doctors, Dr. Lipman and his professional staff does not speak down to patients or treat them as "drug-seekers". He also will state when he does not have full information on a given diagnosis or problem and is willing to find out more. Dr. Lipman is friendly and engaging.

I tried to schedule an appointment with Dr. Lipman but I could not get past the rudeness of the receptionist. She made me feel like I should know the process making an appointment. She was very uncompassionate. When you are dealing with a loved one in so pain you expect to have someone who is understanding, patient, and willing to help you through what is necessary to get an appointment. I called my primary provider to ask for another Doctor that could help us.

As a new patient I expected to see the Doctor. Instead I was seen by a Physician's Assistant and he recommended a treatment that I knew from my long history with this disease would not work. Then he sent me for a MRI of my upper back, totally unnecessary. I did not hear back from the office which surprised me because I was told I would be contacted when the results were received. Never heard from them and I was glad Medicare would not pay for the MRI because DR must order not PA.

I was waiting in a patient room to see him for my first visit after transferring from an out of town pain clinic. I was told by a RN that I had to leave because on my application I had not listed my medical insurance in the correct order. I asked if I could correct the error and they said no and I was told I had to leave. I have been under the care of the top pain management doctor at Stanford Hospital located in Palo Alto, Ca.and Redding, Ca. Treatment received by nursing staff was awful.
