Absolutely horrible treatment by this NP told me since I’m not fat and I don’t look like I have Pcos I don’t need to wast my time getting the hormonal testing I had a referral to get done very disappointed

I have PCOS, and came in for hormone testing as instructed by MD. Was told I “didn’t look like I had PCOS” and my stomach issues “weren’t related, as stomach issues aren’t tied in with PCOS” (it is common knowledge that stomach issues are closely related). She rushed through questioning, and jumped to ignorant conclusions. This nurse had the guts to say that the tests we waited months on, recommended by a real doctor, were pointless, and that I may just have a bit of a testosterone / estrogen imbalance. Absolutely ridiculous and a waste of time and money.

I don't think NP Singleton even read my name on my chart. She blazed through the pap smear and left. I did not have an opportunity to ask any questions, she did nothing to reassure me or make me feel more comfortable, and she seemed totally uninterested in my general health besides completing this pap smear. Additionally she invited another woman in the room to assist, but she never introduced her. If you're going to see me half naked and look at my genitals, at least introduce yourself first.
