It was determined that I had a muscular condition in my left shoulder that required a muscle relaxer followed by physical therapy. The shoulder did not have any fracture, arthritis or tears, but muscle swelling was noticeable-the pain had been difficult for two days resulting in limited sleep plus I was unable to use the arm. I feared a damaged rotator cuff. The provider assured me that I would mend, but that I needed physical therapy. I was very satisfied with the diagnosis meaning that I would return to normal. My original intent was to visit urgent care, but upon my call I was redirected to this Orthopedic Group. I was pleased with this alternative and will follow through with the given recommendations.
