After 25+ years of suffering from chronic migraine headaches, I had a TIA which led to my neurologist of 8 years to drop me as his patient 3 weeks later. When I met Dr McCoy, I had two questions for her as I did for 8 other doctors, and she was the only one that had answered both of them without thinking about the questions or her response. Does she understand migraine headaches, and will she drop me because mine are too complicated? She assured me she does understand them, and she will never give up on me. That was in 2018 since then we have been a team trying to control my chronic migraines every day. She is always up to date on the most current treatments that are out there or are coming out. If we hit a roadblock, she will reach out to her collogues to help us. She has been true to her word; she has never given up on me. I couldn't have a better, more caring doctor in my corner fighting for my health. My only regret is that I didn't have her on my team sooner.

I left my appointment crying tears of JOY!!!! First time in a LONG time I had a provider look at me and not their watch or computer. She listened to my answers. I left her office with such a feeling of relief that we have a treatment plan in place. If you are a longtime migraine/headache sufferer - you must see her.

Dr. Heather McCoy is an amazing professional, she is caring, listens to your needs, and exhausts all methods of treatment to find the one that works for you. I would highly recommend, her if you suffer from chronic headaches. Her experience, bed side manner, and knowledge of the most up to date treatments is what makes her stand out among general neurologist.

I have been seeing Dr McCoy and her staff for years now. I found here after being disappointed with a neurology clinic I was going. Dr McCoy is the best doctor I have ever experienced. She takes the time to listen to everything you have going on to help find the best solution for your migraines/headaches. She stays up to date on all emerging treatment options. Her and her staff are friendly, welcoming and professional.

I have been to neurologists and other practitioners for over 14 years for my migraine issues and by far Dr. McCoy has been the best even over Mayo Clinic. She takes the time to spend with you to address your personal needs. Her staff is also great, compassionate and have patience like Dr. McCoy.

I went to a neurologist and and a pain management physician and neither one could help me with my headaches. When I went to see Heather she told me about a natural product called Gliacin. Within about a week my headaches decreased dramatically. They do flair up at times but then they do dissipate within a few days!

After 7 yrs of chronic migraines &numerous neurologists...From Cedars in Los Angeles to The Core Institute in scottsdale &everywhere in between....I finally found someone who is actually LOOKING for the reasons behind my pain. Not one other dr ever went beyond the regular appt where they shove new drugs &injections then hurry you away. Heather is amazing. She cares, understands &she wants to cure us, not just make money off us. She is my hope that one day, i will have quality in my life again.
