I should have looked at the reviews online and see all the 1.0s on the reviews. He was so rude. Seems so much in a hurry. He never looked me in the eye. He never listened to me and I know my body better than him. He didn't even tell me how to handle the pain. I could not take prednisone because of seizures. He practically ran out the door. When the nurse came in to tell me I could leave I told her that I was not done with him. He did come back in and answer question. I don't know that he even looked at my x-rays. He just read notes from an urgent care visit last night. He's not good at explaining things. Definitely one of the worst medical persons I've met. The young ladies at the front desk were very nice.

This visit was a total waste of my time! Never again! He never made eye contact with me. Seemed very rushed. As he approached me to examine me, I told him to stop as I was in so much pain and that if he was to continue, he needed to do it gingerly. He then got up walked out of the room and sent me for radiographs. The results were a narrowing of disc spacing as well as some bone spurs. He proceeded then to say I refused an exam (which I did not) and I had a family member with me to verify. He proceeded to say he’s done this job for 22 years. I simply cannot imagine! I too am a doctor— but he lacked empathy, compassion, listening skills, eye contact and poor people skills. I can’t imagine Orthocarolina having him as a part of their team… as all my prior visits to the practice have been wonderful….

The front desk staff was nice and the nurse. The two times I have seen PA Owens I didn't feel respected as a patient. He talks down to me. He's very condescending and tries to tell me how I'm feeling. He just automatically assumed that I had not attended physical therapy,without looking at my chart. He was over 30 minutes late coming in to see me! He shows No empathy at all!

I would never let this man touch me for an examination again.
