After giving Ms. Boone a chance, I have determined she is not right for my quality of care. She has not helped me decrease my pain enough to say that I'm in a better place. She only discusses my meds, but no other options. She thinks I'm doing well, but I keep telling her that I'm not. I will search for another provider who cares about my quality of life.

No. I wouldn’t. Ms Boone is dismissive and disrespectful to her nursing peers and makes textbook errors in assessing her patients. Rather than help you ferret out what your underlying condition is, she will label you as a psych patient and not help you. She missed a spinal csf leak and rather than working through it with me decided to dismiss me. Now she has my intracranial hypotension and csf leak diagnoses to put in my chart. Find a provider who will actually listen to you and work with you, not against you. Dr Cubillo is a good doctor at Pain Institute of Southern Arizona. He knows how to listen and have respect for his colleagues in health services. Ms Boone has lost the art of nursing and communicating. She refuses to remediate herself on conditions she obviously knows very little about. This nurse practitioner does NOT recommend.
