Asked my daughter leading questions, could not build rapport with her. Often got the sense that because we weren't religious, that was the root of her problems. Recommended other doctors to us for help. Eventually gave up on our teen daughter and told us to take her to the hospital and refuse to pick her up to get her help.

Helpful And Caring
My experience with Dr. Kish has been quite positive. Her straightforward, direct approach has been very helpful to me in working through several issues. I find that I appreciate her candor and getting straight to the point, I was in therapy to do the work and not waste my time. She helped me through a tough transition in my life. She specifically helped me identify some toxic elements that were detrimental to my mental health. Thank you, Dr. Kish

Pros and cons, decide for yourself
Pros: flexible, quick to get into, telehealth availability, opportunity for evening/weekend visits. Cons: Childs issues only seemed to be more firmly seated after many visits, group visits appeared to support that this was a factor in that. Some billing issues. Rude, unprofessional behavior at times referring to irrelevant opinions and when attempted to address this, summarily ignored from then out. In crisis.... take what you can get in the current mental health climate, but if you have options, I would move past this one if I had it to do over again.

AMAZING
Patricia is one of the therapists that you want to go to if you just need someone to talk to and laugh with. I've been seeing her for awhile now and it hasn't been a bad experience yet. She's always a phone call away even when it's not my time for a visit. My friends always ask me who I go to for therapy but I never tell them because she is AMAZING and I don't want anyone to steal her. If you're looking for someone to give you great advice and support you in any way you need. This is your person. We have laughed and we have cried together.

Wouldn’t recommend
Patricia spent half the appointment talking about herself and what she has been up to that week. She is condescending. I would also get double billed.

I saw both John and Patty at Harmony Counseling for different issues. I saw Patty with my spouse for couples therapy. I do feel that couples therapy is not easy and it was sometimes tough to admit my own faults. But the communication between myself and my spouse improved with Patty's guidance. I would recommend her services.

At first, things went well in the appointments and I felt they were helping. Then it got to a point where Patty would check her phone while I was speaking to her, and not pay attention. It felt awkward when I would try to bring up topics I wanted to discuss and I received one word responses. I’ve had multiple therapists before who took initiative to help me, and I felt Patty didn’t. I would not recommend her for anymore than someone to speak to about surface level every day stressors. I would also not recommend her for someone below her age group, as she doesn’t try to relate or understand common issues different generations face besides her own,

She does not give very practical or emotionally supportive advice. She tries to prescribe vitamins or recommend simplistic health changes to combat anxiety, which is what medical doctors are for. I don't think she actually knows how to build rapport with patients unless you are of similar age to her.

We have been going to Patricia since 2010 she has helped us thru and thru. Since 2010 I’ve been through a divorce and then remarried. Been through deaths of relatives and moved and changed jobs and been through a breakup up my family. My oldest 3 children from my first marriage have been seeing Patricia since 2010 as well. The 7 of us are doing well and i would have to say that one of the main reasons is that Patricia have helped us through the good times and bad. I can’t thank her enough.

I have seen Patty with my husband on multiple occasions for couples treatment, she is very caring, compassionate and listens well. We have found her to be very helpful in teaching us how to keep our anger in check. We have learned how to better express our needs to one another, communicate and remember to take quality time for each other. I would highly recommend you sit down with Patty if your relationship needs help.

She helped me be a better parent. I had a strained relationship with my spouse so she suggested I bring him to a session. After 3 sessions, she took our marriage from fixable to my husband wanting a divorce. She used discussions in my private sessions to defend my husband and belittle me. Once he decided to separate, she told him to move out and seek an attorney, and me to just "get over it." She did not attempt to mend our marriage, just acknowledge the issues and tell us to move on.
