I wasted an hour filling out all of the paperwork leading up to my daughter having her first appointment. My daughter said it was very uncomfortable because she wanted to rush into very deep topics without getting to know her first. I tried emailing her the next day to see what she thought and how I should make a follow up appointment. She never emailed back! Very unprofessional.

The initial consult went well. I had eight scheduled follow up visits. I was contacted with very less than 30m ninutes the provider would not be able to keep the appointment. I had waited nealy 2 weeks for the follow up appointment. Out of courtsey to the provider, I muted my phone, therefore I was unaware of the canceled appointment and waited more than 25 minutes for this provider to show up. I expect a level of accountability from professionals. I feel that the office staff should have reached out to me on the video as they should have been able to see I was logged in. I canceled all follow up appointments as no reason for the provider canceling was shared with me. Oddly, when I attempted to call and cancel the follow up appointments my call went to voice mail. UHC was nice enough to reach out as well to the provider to notify them of the canceled upcoming appointments, yet they wre able to speak with a office member. It seems if an urgent situation had developed that the office staff should be instructed to reach out to the patient by phone, text or video to verify that the client was aware of the canceled appointment. If I had canceled in less than 24 hours, I would have been billed, yet it seems the mental health provider has no accountability to the client when they upbruptly cancel without even an explanation.
