I was worried going to a pain clinic the 1st time Id just had horrible experience w/my PCP I have many chronic pain issues & after many promises not to change my meds he decided I didn't need to be on them because another patient of his quit pain meds cold turkey He med-shamed me & made me feel like a junky begging him not to take my meds away! I can't get out of bed & walk to the bathroom without them Quality of life... There is NO quality! Terri listened REALLY listened she didn't judge me or make me feel like I had to beg or prove my worthiness for the meds that allowed me to have a life & do the things that make me happy- make life worth living. Pain makes it harder & harder to find reasons to get out of Terri gave me my life back! when the amounts needed adjusting she treated me w/ compassion instead of making me feel like a criminal I'm no different than anyone else & for the first time someone understands & never treats me like anything less than a human being Thank you Terri!
