Dr. Aquino Jr. was a relatively young, new PA.
He was very cordial and explained the procedure we needed to follow in the next step of getting a step closer to meeting requirements for the removal of my husbands stomach tube he no longer needs due to his ability to swallow all fluids & soft foods he has received at home. The patient is beginning to experience bouts of anger as he has to continue a liquid diet that has caused him to have loose bowels and gas pain constantly, which causes the need for the wearing of diapers,etc., making it really hard for him to leave the house and have any type of normal life. Then we got a call from the scheduler that the earliest he can see a Physical Therapist to give him the swallow test he has to have is August 19th, which means he cannot be scheduled for the removal of the stomach tube until the Fall of this year? Mentally I am not sure he can handle more waiting! I am imploring, begging that you can help us get a Speech Therapist sooner than August as I really am worried about him.
