Care Philosophy: My philosophy is that each patient is unique and has different needs and expectations. I try to really listen and dial in their wants/needs to delineate a plan that is customized. Our practice focuses on education and making sure that the patient has a clear expectations of outcomes.

Care Philosophy: My goal as a physician is to provide quality and accessible care for my patients. When I am sitting in my rocking chair at night, putting my children to bed, I think about how I would want them treated if they were my patient and use that as a guideline when I am providing care.

Care Philosophy: As one of only a handful of female plastic surgeons in the Kansas City area, Dr. Sheryl Young brings an intimate understanding, as well as her professional medical training, to addressing women's issues. As a mother of 2 daughters, she has a unique perspective on the female form, with firsthand experience regarding changes in the body after childbirth, as well as the aging process.
