She currently serves as the director of the pediatric hemoglobinopathy specialty center at Staten Island University Hospital, where comprehensive care is provided to patients with sickle cell disease and other hemoglobinopathies. She is committed to education and research at SIUH she is actively involved in further advancing research at SIUH as the co-chair of the pediatric research and scholarship committee.
