Biography: Dr. Lawrence Greenawald is a board certified general, abdominal, gastrointestinal and laparoscopic/robotic assisted laparoscopic surgeon in group practice at Virtua Lourdes Surgical Associates in Haddon Heights, New Jersey. He is a Philadelphia native and completed his medical degree at Drexel University with internship and residency at Hahnemann University Hospital. Dr. Greenawald specializes in the surgical management of diseases of the abdominal wall and the hollow GI tract, including minimally invasive hernia repair, abdominal wall reconstruction, minimally invasive cholecystectomy, minimally invasive colectomy, surgical disease of the skin and soft tissues, wound care, and acute/emergency surgical treatment.

He is President-elect of the Philadelphia chapter of the American College of Surgeons and has been nominated as a national Governor. He is also a member of the AAMC's ERAS Advisory Council.
