Since his mother was a family medicine physician and his father was a civil engineer, Dr. Lorenzetti studied bioengineering in college. He thinks orthopedics is a perfect combination of engineering and medicine that allows people to get back to their active lives and activities that they enjoy. He thinks it is very rewarding taking away someone's pain or restoring their range of motion so they can be back playing with their children, golfing, skiing or whatever they wish to do.Dr. Lorenzetti loves to be active and to be outdoors: he enjoys skiing and snowboarding in the winter and hiking, rock climbing, golfing, and soccer during the summer. He and his wife are avid travelers and love to explore new places, foods and cultures, and they are also kept busy by their two young boys.

Biography: Dr. Schreck specializes in hand, wrist and elbow surgery. He has been fascinated by the anatomy of the hand and arm since the beginning of medical school, and he finds the complexity and intricacies of the anatomy awe-inspiring. As he went through his residency training, having an opportunity to see first-hand how someone can be helped by a hand-surgical procedure left no doubt in his mind that he would choose this field. A procedure as simple as a carpal tunnel release can be life-changing for a patient. Returning function to patients with hand and upper-extremity related issues is extraordinarily gratifying, as virtually all people require use of their hands to a significant degree in their daily lives. In his free time, Dr. Schreck enjoys exercising and spending time with his family.
