Biography: Dr. T. Ellis Barnes is a master general and robotics surgeon providing advanced care and surgical expertise to patients in Savannah, GA. He obtained his medical degree from the University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland and currently serves as the Assistant Professor of Surgery for the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University. With his mentorship, I have developed my practice to provide the best surgical care, but to also treat the person and family as they go through their journey. \n After practicing in Virginia for eight years, I wanted to return home to South Carolina and my family. \n In my short time here, I have worked to build our clinic with that same focus on breast care and breast cancer surgery and treatment. Patient care and experience are my top priorities, ensuring the best possible care in a warm, clinical environment supported by a friendly team. \n I specialize in many areas of breast surgery, including benign and malignant breast disease, as well as general surgery, including hernia repair, gallbladder disease and gastrointestinal surgery. \n When not working, I spend time with my family enjoying and reveling in the beauty of the outdoors with many sports and activities.
