Biography: Dr. Everton began her medical career serving military members and their families. After completing medical school at Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD, Dr. Everton interned at Scott Air Force base in Illinois, then completed a family medicine residency at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. She came to Barksdale Air Force base in 1994 where she quickly rose to Director of Emergency Services. Her career took her to Portugal, then to Alabama and New York before she chose to return to Shreveport-Bossier as a professor in family medicine and comprehensive care at LSU Health Sciences Center. Dr. Everton came to the Willis-Knighton Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care Center in 2012, where she has dedicated herself to improving the quality of life for patients. She wants her patients to know that they will be listened to, cared for as an integral part of the healthcare team.

Biography: Dr. Thorat earned his medical degree from Government Medical College, Miraj, India (2003). He complete his residency in Neurology at Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee (2012). He has also studied Kinesiology/Exercise Science at the University of Wyoming, before joining his residency (2008). He joined Neurology practice at Willis-Knighton in Bossier City in 2014.
