Biography: I chose medicine because I love science, and I love helping people. Family medicine combines these two passions of mine in a unique way. I chose family medicine specifically because I love the privilege of caring for people of all ages, through all phases of their lives. \n One of my great strengths as a provider is that I truly care about my patients and greatly value the relationships we build. Our family enjoys traveling, and we have visited all 50 states together. I am originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, and then moved to California, before going to Princeton University for college. I came to North Carolina for medical school and have made this home since then. My husband and I are active in our church and are active volunteers with World Relief and Meals on Wheels.
