Biography: Steven Tversky, DO, is a vascular neurologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens and an assistant professor of clinical neurology at Weill Cornell Medicine. He performs procedures at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. Board certified in neurology, Dr. Tversky has a clinical interest in management and prevention of stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, and stroke in young adults. He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Stroke Association. Dr. Tversky has published his research in medical journals, including the Journal of Intensive Care Medicine and the Journal of Emergency Medicine, and has presented his work at national and international neurology medical conferences. After graduating from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Tversky completed his residency in neurology at NorthWell Health. He served his fellowship in vascular neurology and stoke at Montefiore Medical Center.

Care Philosophy: In founding The Center for Reconstructive Joint Surgery, Dr. Harwin wanted to create a joint treatment center where patients would receive the specialized, individualized care they need. Because each patient s physical, emotional and financial condition is unique, Dr. Harwin believes that a personalized approach to patient care is best. At The Center for Reconstructive Joint Surgery, Dr. Harwin supervises patient care and performs all surgical procedures. His personal staff of orthopaedic nurses, technicians, and physician assistants, as well his clerical and administrative staff, share his commitment to personalized care and take pride in getting to know each patient individually.

Care Philosophy: The cornerstone of my patient treatment philosophy is integrative care, of which surgery is but one component. I am committed to a patient-centered, multidisciplinary approach to spinal disorders that might include deformity, tumor, trauma, spinal cord injury, and degenerative disease, and I tailor treatment plans to individual patients for optimal outcomes. For patients who require surgery, I don't believe my role ends after the procedure. I am interested in long-term outcomes following spinal surgery, and to that end I follow my patients long after they leave the OR, and I continue to utilize a team-based approach during the post-operative period.

Biography: With extensive experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain medicine, Eric Leung, MD provides the highest quality, comprehensive care for a wide range of disabling conditions. As a physiatrist, Dr. Leung specializes in spine and nerve disorders. With a special interest in cancer management and rehabilitation, Dr. Leung provides the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies and continuity of care within the framework of Columbia University Iriving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian. He is devoted to expert diagnosis and treatment for improved patient outcomes and is committed to delivering state-of-the-art neurological care with compassion and sensitivity to the needs of patients and their families.
