Dr. Ramos-Gonzales received her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University before receiving her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She completed her residency training at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in El Paso. Dr. Ramos-Gonzales is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of The Bexar County Medical Society. Dr. Ramos-Gonzales is married and has three children.

Biography: Dr. Cowan joined Austin Area Obstetrics, Gynecology & Fertility in 2000 and has helped women from in and around Austin, Texas to find improved health and deliver healthy, happy babies by providing high quality gynecological and obstetrics services. Dr. Cowan is a native of Hillsboro, Texas and completed his undergraduate work in biology at The University of Texas in 1987. He earned his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. His residency in obstetrics and gynecology was completed at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth in 1995, where he was chief resident. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and serves on the executive board of both the Travis County Medical Society and the Blood and Tissue Center in Austin. He is also an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
