Biography: Bonnie Y. Chien, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in operative and non-operative treatment of foot and ankle conditions from young adolescent to adult patients. Dr. Chien's expertise focuses on refined surgical techniques that address various foot, ankle, heel, and toe conditions. Her practice leverages minimally invasive techniques ranging from foot and ankle reconstruction to bunion corrections. Dr. Chien grew up in Taipei, Taiwan, and earned her undergraduate and medical degrees at Stanford University. She completed her Orthopedic Surgery residency at Harvard, where she served in numerous education leadership roles both in residency and on a national level. Dr. Chien received the Resident Executive Committee Award from the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program (HCORP) and completed her orthopedic subspecialty fellowship in foot and ankle at the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Chien is active in academic research, publishing many articles, abstracts, and book chapters on ankle fractures, the management of diabetic feet, infection prevention, and total ankle replacement. As more advanced techniques in reconstruction evolve, she hopes to focus on studying if newer technologies, such as advances in implants, make a difference and are cost-effective. Dr. Chien is an active member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS), the Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society (RJOS), the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Medical Association (AMA), and serves as a representative for the Health Policy Committee. Dr. Chien enjoys global exchange in orthopedic foot and surgery and has traveled internationally to Colombia, Malawi, and India to teach and perform surgeries. Dr. Chien speaks conversational Spanish and is fluent in Chinese in addition to English. With her upbringing abroad and exposure to other parts of the world, she is passionate about learning different cultures and languages and connecting with a diverse patient population in and around New York.

Biography: Joshua E. Hyman, MD, is a nationally and globally renowned specialist in the care of children with cerebral palsy and lower extremity deformity. His clinical interests as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon also include hip diseases and dysplasia, neuromuscular disorders, limb length differences, and complex fracture care. As Clinical Director of the Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center, he helps oversee a team of medical professionals that carefully designs and executes personalized treatment programs for each and every patient to achieve the best possible outcomes. He is a staunch advocate for children with cerebral palsy, believing that they, like all children, require comprehensive healthcare. He is dedicated to ensuring the delivery of this high-quality care across the lifespan for patients with CP while also addressing the concerns of their families. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Hyman is a prolific scholar, dedicated medical educator, and mentor. He is actively involved in research trials on clubfoot, hip disorders, and neuromuscular diseases in pediatric patients. He is a founding member of the International Perthes Study Group and a member of the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. In 2013, he was awarded the Charles S. Neer "Teacher of the Year" award for his enthusiasm, passion, and dedication to resident education. Additionally, he serves as Director of the surgical fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics & Spine at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. Dr. Hyman also serves multiple roles within the national and international governance of orthopedic surgery. He is a past-president of the International Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (SICOT) US and serves on the Executive Board of SICOT and its Foundation. He is a trustee of the World Orthopaedic Concern an international organization focused on improving orthopaedic care in low- and middle-income countries. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine and is their representative on the International Alliance of Academies of Childhood Disability. Dr. Hyman is committed to improving the musculoskeletal health of children not only in the US, but also in medically under-resourced regions throughout the world. As Medical Director of the Children of China Pediatrics Foundation, Dr. Hyman travels to China annually to perform surgery on disabled children living in orphanages and provides clinical training and education to Chinese surgeons. He is also co-founder and medical director of Miraclefeet, an international NGO focused on promoting the care of children with clubfoot in medically under-resourced regions. Dr. Hyman is consistently listed among NY Magazine and Castle Connolly's Top Doctors. An avid skier, sailor, and cyclist, his greatest pleasure is participating in these activities with his wife and four children.

Biography: Dr. Jennifer Langsdorf received her medical degree from Washington University in Saint Louis after graduating summa cum laude from the University of Delaware. She completed her internship in internal medicine and her neurology residency training at the Harvard-Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She followed this with a fellowship in electromyography and clinical neurophysiology also at the Harvard-Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She then completed a fellowship in neuromuscular disease at the Hospital for Special Surgery.Dr. Langsdorf is now an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience at the Peripheral Neuropathy Center of Weill Cornell Medical College. Her practice focuses on neck and back pain, muscle weakness, numbness of the hands and feet, neuropathy, radiculopathy, myopathy, and nerve injuries. She has a special interest in neuromuscular disease, but also cares for patients with general neurological disorders. Care Philosophy: Samuel H. Selesnick, M.D., F.A.C.S. is Professor and Vice Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology and Professor of Otolaryngology in Neurological Surgery at the Weill Cornell Medical College, and is a member of the Department of Neurological Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Selesnick is a Past President of the American Neurotology and is the President Elect of the American Otological Society.
