He received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine Yeshiva University, completed his residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Surgical Critical Care. Dr. Hagler is certified by the American Board of General Surgery and certified in Critical Care Medicine.

Biography: Dr. Michael Coomaraswamy is a board certified Surgeon specializing in Surgical Critical Care practicing at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens hospital. He received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine Yeshiva University and completed his residency in General Surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. His clinical interests are trauma, head and neck surgery, and surgical critical care.
