She joined the Oak Hills Women's Center, P.A. family in 2017 after completing her Obstetrics-Gynecology program at Parkland Hospital, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. Always a stellar student, Dr. Cavazos initially earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, where she received highest honors for Academic Achievement. After receiving her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2013, she went on to complete a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health in Houston, Texas. Dr. Cavazos quickly became a well-regarded resident at Parkland Hospital, a prestigious OB/GYN training program in the United States, before winning the residency award for Excellence in Pediatric Gynecology. Since joining the tight-knit family practice, she has been a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as a member of the American Medical Association and the Texas Medical Association. Biography: Dr. Erika Price grew up just outside of Denver, Colorado. She attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, earning a bachelor's degree in Biology. In addition, she was a four-year letter winner with the Division I NCAA Drake Volleyball team. She went on to pursue her medical degree and graduated summa cum laude from Creighton University, in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Price then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She joined Seven Oaks in the summer of 2020.Dr. Price has a passion for women's health and enjoys the wide variety of procedures and complex challenges that the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology has to offer. She values education and patient-centered care, and loves to help women through some of the most exciting times of their lives. Dr. Price also has an interest in contraception counseling and young adult health. During residency she received multiple teaching awards, the AAGL Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, and is da Vinci Robotic Surgery trained and certified.In 2016, Dr. Price married her husband, Matt, and they moved together to San Antonio later that year. When Dr. Price is not working with patients or studying, she likes to stay active with yoga, cycling, and paddle boarding. Biography: Molly Shields, M.D., was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity University, San Antonio, then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2013.Dr. Shields provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care including routine and high risk prenatal care, well-woman exams and preventative care, contraceptive counseling and management, minimally invasive surgery and management of abnormal bleeding and menopausal symptoms. She delivers her patients at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital.Dr. Shields lives with her husband and two young sons. Her hobbies include photography, scuba diving and cooking for her family and friends.
