Biography: Dennis Chen, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with LewisGale Physicians in Salem, Virginia. He has a history of academic excellence, graduating with honors from the highly competitive combined undergraduate and medical degree program at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Chen subsequently completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Virginia followed by a fellowship in adult joint reconstruction surgery at the University of Florida.Dr. Chen specializes in minimally invasive, muscle-sparing hip and knee replacement surgery, including robotic total and partial knee replacement, direct anterior hip replacement, and revision hip and knee replacement.
