Biography: Matthew A. Dorweiler, MD is a graduate of Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, OH and his orthopedic surgery sports medicine fellowship from The Ohio State University. Dr. Fester offers the newest cartilage restoration technique available, matrix-induced autologous chondrocyte implantation (MACI) cartilage transplant. MACI transplant, a two-step procedure using the patient's own cartilage, is most effective for active patients, from their teens to 50s.
