He is skilled in ultrasound of the upper extremity for diagnosis and treatments and is co-author of a textbook to assist other physicians with these useful exams and techniques. Dr. Vercio has also spent time in developing countries from Nepal to Haiti and plans to continue helping those in need.

Care Philosophy: Daniela Mehech, MD, is a board-certified physiatrist (physical medicine and rehabilitation physician), with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine. Dr. Mehech enjoys getting her patients of all ages and recreation levels moving and being active. She focuses on musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions, including acute and overuse injuries, as well as osteoarthritis and tendinopathy. Dr. Mehech has a particular interest in using ultrasound not only to diagnose and treat via ultrasound-guided injections and procedures, but also to educate patients on their conditions. She values working in a collaborative environment with both patients and with other medical professionals such as orthopedic surgeons and physical or occupational therapists. Originally from California, Dr. Mehech is happy to call Washington home. Outside of medicine, you can find Dr. Mehech cycling in all forms, swimming, running and spending time outdoors with her family.

Dr. Hatheway offers a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients with chronic pain, with an emphasis on formulating an individualized plan of care based on the patient's history, physical exam and imaging studies. He utilizes many minimally invasive interventional pain procedures to treat chronic pain. Dr. Hatheway is a member of the North American Neuromodulation Society, and American Society of Pain and Neuroscience. He has been engaged in clinical research and has authored many scientific articles on pain medicine. Away from work, Dr. Hatheway enjoys flyfishing, boating, hunting and traveling.
