Biography: Dr. Greenberg is the Director of Surgical Education, Director of the Outpatient Surgical Clinics and Director of Surgical Endoscopy for the Department of Surgery. Dr. Greenberg is board certified in surgery and colon and rectal surgery and is Associate Professor of Surgery at Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Greenberg has worked tirelessly over the years to help create a structured educational program for our residents. Care Philosophy: In addition to treating many aspects of general surgery, Dr. Meikle focuses his practice on the expert treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the colon, rectum and anus. He is keenly aware of the apprehension that many patients may feel when they need to see a physician for a colorectal surgery problem and strives to make the patient feel as comfortable as possible throughout their treatment course. He enjoys spending time with patients to ensure they fully understand their individual surgical plan. Dr. Meikle has particular interest in minimally invasive/robotic surgery using the DaVinci Xi robotic system for the treatment of colon and rectal cancer as well as benign disease. He also performs diagnostic and screening colonoscopies.
