Care Philosophy: I am primarily interested in the orthopaedic care of the multiply injured patient. I specialize in fractures of the acetabulum, pelvis, and in periarticular fractures of the upper and lower extremities. I have a special interest in minimally invasive fracture fixation, utilizing techniques to minimize trauma to the surrounding soft tissue envelope in the course of fracture surgery.

Biography: Lisa was born in Delta, Colorado. She received both her B.A. in Economics and her Medical Degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. She returned to Colorado to complete her internship and residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Lisa is married and has two sons. In her free time, she enjoys mountain biking, kayaking, and fly-fishing. She is also an avid traveler and a diehard Bronco fan. Lisa's primary area of interests are newborn and toddler care.

Care Philosophy: I believe in listening to my patient. I acknowledge that they patient know their body better than anyone. Every patient is seeking and needs or wants something different, and needs or wants that in a way that fits with their view of their health. Together, the patient and I collaborate to form the working relationship: Is the patient more knowledgeable and self-directed? Or would they prefer I take the lead in outlining a care plan? Motivational interviewing for positive health behavior maintenance or change is my main approach to care.
