She attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey's School of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned her Master of Biomedical Sciences in 2009, followed by her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2013. In medical school, Dr. Flaherty served as vice president of the National Osteopathic Women Physician's Association. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland, where she served as chief resident from 2014 to 2016. At Jefferson Health in New Jersey, Dr. Flaherty provides patients (newborn through adult) with individualized care for prevention and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. She believes in partnering with her patients to help them live a healthy lifestyle.
