Dr. Murdock returned to Houston to complete a residency in ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine, where she delved further into education by teaching medical trainees in both didactic and hands-on settings. She was then selectively chosen from a highly competitive group of applicants to join the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with a fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University, where she performed thousands of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face, eyelids, and orbit in both adults and children alike. Dr. Jennifer Murdock is currently a board-certified ophthalmologist with a specialization in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. She has a particular interest in aesthetic procedures, eyelid and orbital reconstruction, pediatric ophthalmic plastic surgery, and complicated orbital inflammatory disorders, including thyroid eye disease.
